Evelyn was born and raised in Matagorda County, Texas. She completed her B.A. at Hunter College in New York City, graduating cum laude and with highest honors in Sociology. She is also a lifetime member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
After working for over twenty years in the legal field, Evelyn obtained her law degree in 2010 from The University of Denver Sturm College of Law and is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas.
Evelyn has over twelve years of experience working on the litigation teams of large law firms and has acquired a broad knowledge of trial practice and evidentiary matters. Over the past five years she has primarily concentrated her legal studies and practice of law on Personal Injury, Family Law, and Probate Law. She also has a broad understanding of Estate Planning matters and frequently offers her free Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning Seminar to local libraries, colleges, and churches.
